“Whenever you find yourself laughing
at a situation or shaking your head
or saying to someone, ‘Listen to this,’
you’ve probably got a story.”
— Ken Fuson, The Des Moines Register

Getting to Know All About You: Your Memoir
Producing a book generally takes 12 to 18 months. You can expect weekly meetings/interview sessions of 60 to 90 minutes in which we will begin to build a storyline. After about eight meetings, you will receive a draft table of contents and begin the intensive work of building out each chapter, both through detailed research and interviews with you and others, as needed. You will have the opportunity to review each draft chapter as it is completed, correcting, adding, and fine-tuning your story. We will continue the process of developing new material and revising existing material until the work is complete to your satisfaction.
Your time commitment: 60 to 90 minutes per week of interviews. After approx. eight weeks, up to two additional hours per week for chapter review and comment.
